A conventional systems are not designed to be repaired they are designed to be relpaced. A tankless water heater normally has a 10 year guarantee on the heat exchange unit and 3-5 on the othre parts. They are constructed to be repiared if needed. Also the lifteime of the tankelss water heater can be up to 20 years with most manufacutrers stating 12-15. A tanlkess water heater very well could be one of the best cost savers you can put into your new home.
